Westone Thunder I-T and Thunder I wiring

Westone Thunder I-T wiring

This is a diagram of the wiring in my 1984 Thunder I-T

The volume and tone pots are 500K log, the tone capacitors are 0.022 microfarad Mylar. The coil tap switch is a DPDT mini toggle switch

1 - The earth/shield wires from both humbuckers and the pickup selector switch are soldered to the body of the first tone pot.
2 - There is no earth wire to the second tone pot - it doesn't need one as all the pots are mounted on a metal plate (If one is earthed, they all are)
3 -  For convenience  all white wires are shown as yellow
4 - Note these two wires are the black ('Hot') wires from the pickups, they are not connected to the earth/shield wires

Westone Thunder I wiring

This diagram is taken from a 1984 Thunder I . It is essentially the same as the diagram for the Thunder I-T, the only difference being the number of wires from the pickups.
All pots are 500K log, tone capacitors are 22nF Mylar, coil tap switch is a DPDT mini toggle switch.

1 - The earth/shield wires from both humbuckers and the pickup selector switch are soldered to the body of the first tone pot.
2 - There is no earth wire to the second tone pot - it doesn't need one as all the pots are mounted on a metal plate (If one is earthed, they all are)
