Info from the 1986 Pantera catalogue:
First appeared in the August 1986 US price list at $699, reduced to $525 in the Sept 1987 price list.
It does not appear in the Jan 1988 price list.
The 5 string Pantera X775 unusually came with 2 nuts and an extra string.
Which nut and string you used depended on whether you wanted the 5th string to be a high or low string.
