Available in Candy Red (X750CR) and Pearl White ( X750PW).
First appears in the January 1986 US pricelist at $499, rising to $599 in August 1986.  Listed in the Sept 1987 US and Jan 1988 pricelists at $449

2. Pantera X775

Production

Description

Info from the 1986 Pantera catalogue:
First appeared in the August 1986 US price list at $699, reduced to $525 in the Sept 1987 price list.
It does not appear in the Jan 1988 price list.
The 5 string Pantera X775 unusually came with 2 nuts and an extra string.
Which nut and string you used depended on whether you wanted the 5th string to be a high or low string.

Available only in black (X790BK).

First appeared in the January 1986 US pricelist at $895, rising in August 1986 to  $995, reduced to $899 in the Sept 1987 and Jan 1988 price lists.

  • two Magnabass VII pickups
  • Active tone controls
    • different from earlier Westone basses – this bass features the ‘Rock Bottom EQ’ circuit, with separate pots for bass and treble boost/cut. Single volume control, 3 way pickup selector.

Description

There are 2 models in the 1990 Pantera bass range, the I and II.

The I is the high end model.

Appears in the 1990 A Sign Of The Times catalogue. Available in Black (WEBP1BK) or White (WEBP1WH)
